Full Job Description Description:

Stables by Workhorse is seeking reliable, motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team supporting our FedEx operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers, while also handling, loading, and unloading packages with care and efficiency. Our drivers play a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience by delivering packages accurately, maintaining a strong sense of urgency, and representing our team with professionalism. This position requires individuals who are dependable, physically capable, and committed to working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Dependability, professionalism, and motivation to deliver consistent, prompt and courteous service is critical to the success of this role. Among other responsibilities, you will be responsible for: Loading packages into and unloading packages from delivery vehicles (including, but not limited to, your assigned packages/vehicle as well as assisting others with their assigned packages/vehicles). Delivering packages to residential and business addresses, using commercial delivery vehicles such as trucks or vans. Reliable, energetic, and professional customer service. Communicating with customers to coordinate deliveries and ensure they are satisfied with the service provided. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries made and time spent on duty, including mileage and other relevant statistics. Safely following all traffic laws including speed limits, posted signage, and properly signaling lane changes. Communicating with dispatch about pick-up and delivery times, delivery locations, and potential traffic issues that may delay the Driver/Package Handler's progress. Ensuring that packages are properly stored in the delivery vehicle's cargo area to prevent damage during transport. Routinely lifting 70+ lbs. Following federal regulations and Company policies regarding vehicle maintenance, and safe driving practices. Complying with dress code and other Company policies and procedures. Monitoring weather conditions to ensure safe driving conditions and promptly reporting unsafe conditions. Performing pre-delivery inspection of packages to ensure that they are properly labeled and undamaged. Performing pre-Route and post-Route inspection of delivery vehicle to ensure vehicle is safe and operational. Promptly reporting concerns with delivery vehicle to Company management to allow for appropriate servicing of vehicle. Other duties as assigned by Stables.

Highly reliable and hard-working Attention to detail Demonstration of good time management Excellent customer service skills Ability to routinely lift 70+ lbs Problem-solving skills Commitment to compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies and procedures Demonstration of professional and courteous conduct, especially in relation to FedEx Ground terminal management Eligibility to work in US At least 21 years of age Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, Criminal History/Background Check, Drug Screen (prior to employment and for the duration of employment) Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to pass DOT physical Ability to meet all job requirements and expectations as described above or as may be implemented from time to time
