Data Collector - MATI Phase 2 (Part-Time, Temporary) North End Community Improvement Collaborative (NECIC) Mansfield, OH $25.00 per hour | Part-Time | Temporary (September-December 2026) NECIC is looking for energetic, dependable, and community-minded individuals to join our Mobility, Access, and Transportation Insecurity (MATI) Phase 2 project. If you enjoy talking with people, making a difference in your community, and collecting meaningful data that helps improve transportation and employment access, we'd love to hear from you. About the Position As a Data Collector , you'll work directly with community members throughout Mansfield and Richland County by conducting surveys and interviews to help evaluate how expanded public transportation impacts access to jobs. Training is provided by NECIC and the University of Minnesota team.

$25.00 per hour

Up to 10 hours per week (hours may vary)

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt What You'll Do Conduct surveys and interviews with community members. Explain the study, obtain participant consent, and maintain confidentiality. Train participants on the Daynamica travel habits app. Record interviews and assist with AI-generated transcripts. Accurately enter data into project systems. Attend team meetings and provide project updates. Help distribute community outreach materials and transportation information. Represent NECIC professionally while building positive relationships throughout the community. What We're Looking For Strong communication and people skills. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. Comfortable working independently. Ability to work flexible hours, including some early mornings or evenings. Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and online applications. Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications Experience in community outreach, customer service, social services, canvassing, research, or data collection. Familiarity with the Mansfield/Richland County community. Experience using survey platforms such as Qualtrics is a plus. Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical Requirements This position requires traveling throughout Mansfield and Richland County, interacting with community members, and spending time walking, standing, or sitting while conducting interviews. You may also carry light materials such as clipboards, flyers, or tablets. Why Join NECIC?
