Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Sprinter Van Delivery Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers using a sprinter van, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your enthusiasm for customer service, combined with your driving expertise, will help us maintain our reputation for excellence. Duties Safely operate a Sprinter van or personal vehicle for local deliveries, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload packages manually, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper weight distribution. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS systems to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines. Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including manual handling, moving goods, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with commercial driving regulations. Keep detailed records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any issues encountered during routes. Qualifications Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and navigation. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or commercial truck driving is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling procedures. Knowledge of DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
