Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and hardworking Commercial Delivery Driver to handle a dedicated local route three days a week. You will operate a commercial delivery vehicle (box truck) to complete a consistent, low-stop route. This is a straightforward role perfect for an experienced driver looking for steady, predictable part-time income.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient Routing:
Complete exactly 10 retail delivery stops per day along a pre-planned local/regional route.
Loading & Unloading:
Safely transport, unload, and secure cargo (frozen/perishable inventory) at each retail location using a hand truck or pallet jack.
Punctuality:
Maintain a strict schedule to ensure all 10 stops are serviced within the 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM window.
Documentation:
Verify delivery manifests and obtain proof of delivery/signatures from retail partners.
Vehicle Care:
Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of commercial driving experience (box truck, reefer, or large delivery van preferred).
License:
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations). CDL is a plus but not required.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage physical unloading at every stop.
Reliability:
Exceptional attendance and punctuality are absolute requirements for this schedule.
