A brief job description is as follows but not limited to: 1. Provide account management services to an assigned list of customers, which includes store visits, distribution of marketing materials, introduction of new items, communication of operational changes, and generally being available to assist customers (phone, text, email) 2. Develop a plan to meet yearly growth goals for Sales, Weight, and GP 3. Prepare and distribute sales reports to customers that highlight key metrics important to their business 4. Utilize industry knowledge and Store Development team to help customers grow their business 5. Work with office staff (Customer Service, Transportation, Warehouse, Purchasing) to resolve customer issues in a timely manner 6. Actively work to find new customers in assigned territory, as well as follow-up on leads that are received through the website and/or call center 7. Partner with Transportation Leadership to improve profitability on the routes in the Account Manager's assigned territory 8. Represent our Company Values of Respect, Stewardship, and Growth in all customer interactions 9. Attend virtual biweekly team meetings, and occasional (three times per year) meetings at our main office in Walnut Creek. 10. Other duties as assigned Requirements Job Requirements 1. This position is a full-time position 2. Must have a valid driver's license 3. Travel required. Overnight stays of 1-2 nights per week (based on home location) 4. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) 5.
