Then Afternoon Pickup from day program drop off at home. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service while ensuring timely and efficient transportation. This role involves driving various types of vehicles, including cars, vans and mini-buses, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. The Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all vehicles are well-maintained. Responsibilities Operate vehicles such as vans, cars, and mini-buses. Must have a clean driving record Must have at least 2 year driving history Ensure the safety of passengers during transit by adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with passengers and addressing their needs. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any mechanical issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, especially those requiring paratransit services. Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver is preferred. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles is a plus; check oil, fuel up, add windshield wipers fluid, inflated tires, etc. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience in paratransit services is advantageous but not required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. No more than 5 points, however None is preferred. Ability to maintain professionalism while interacting with diverse groups of people. Will be responsible for providing transport for wheelchair riders and walkers.
