Roll-Off Driver (Part time/On Call)

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team, intending for part time hours to start with the possibility of going full time with demand. Flexible hours after 2:00pm and weekends will make it easier to get more hours. As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating various types of trucks to transport and deliver materials to designated locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate hook lift trucks, roll off trucks, and other assigned vehicles
• Load and unload materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment
• Transport materials to designated locations in a timely manner
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles
• Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
• Must be able to pass pre employment and random drug/alcohol tests with 0 tolerance.

Experience:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, CDL A/B preferred
• Previous experience as a roll off driver or similar role preferred
• Ability to operate various types of trucks, including roll off trucks, hook lift trucks, etc.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
