In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to residential and commercial locations. Your enthusiasm, reliability, and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure every delivery is a positive experience. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Plan efficient routes using mobile devices to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety protocols Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injury Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management and material handling Requirements Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service excellence Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is highly desirable Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks Knowledge of DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and delivery documentation Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Strong organizational skills with the ability to adhere to scheduled routes and delivery deadlines Join us as a Package Delivery Driver and be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering excellence!
