You will have daily interaction with our customers, transportation, and sales team. What You'll Do Load and secure product from the Toledo DC into a parcel van and or straight truck. Safely operate a parcel van and/or straight truck between the Distribution Center and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by the company's safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc. Unload and deliver products at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries. Provide in-person support to the customer - addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery. Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations. Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy. Perform an inspection of the vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 21 years of age or older Valid US driver's license Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday - Saturday Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles. Clean driving record with no serious violations. No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past 2 years No alcohol related convictions within the last 10 years Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 35 pounds Read and write in English Effective organizational, listening, and communication skills Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture Schedule - Full Time Tuesday - Saturday Overtime will be required as needed. Pay & Benefits Compensation for this position starts at $20.00 per hour.
