Job Description

US Foods seeks a CDL Delivery Driver to safely deliver foodservice products to local customers in the Transportation & Logistics department. You'll operate CDL trucks on established routes, perform pre/post-trip inspections, handle unloading and product verification, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries. This role provides daily customer interaction, requiring strong service skills, attention to safety, and DOT compliance. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL delivery trucks to deliver foodservice products to restaurant and foodservice customers on assigned routes. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles meet DOT and US Foods safety standards. Load, unload, and secure products using pallet jacks or hand trucks, verifying orders and obtaining accurate proof-of-delivery. Maintain accurate delivery logs and ELD records in compliance with
DOT/FMCSA
regulations. Provide professional, courteous service, resolving basic delivery issues and communicating customer needs to the Transportation team. Follow company policies on food safety, product handling, and temperature control during transport. Report vehicle defects, incidents, and route issues promptly to supervisors. Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and service levels.
