As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Part Time Pay Rate:
$17.75 / Hour Security Experience (C115): Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This experience should be documented and verifiable. Valid Driver's License (C123): Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements. A copy of the driver's license must be submitted during the application process. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively. Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates must have prior customer service experience. This experience should highlight the candidate's ability to interact positively with customers and resolve issues effectively.Job Schedule:
Day Time Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access as directed by site policy, and assist with traffic flow for deliveries and shipping activities. Communicate relevant observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
