May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.
Overview Stateline Delivery is seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Bread Route Delivery Driver to manage a dedicated daily delivery route. If you have experience running Flowers Foods Bread Routes (Nature's Own, Wonder Bread, Dave's Killer Bread, etc.), we want to talk to you!

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Sundays and Wednesdays off)
Shift Hours:
Approximately 3:00 AM to approxiamately 1:00 PM - Early afternoon finish! Compensation, Benefits +
Driver Equipment Base Pay:
$150-$175 per day, based on experience.
Paid Time Off:
One (1) week of paid vacation per year.
Bonuses:
Eligible for route performance, driver performance, and holiday bonuses year-round.
Weekly Lunch:
Lunch is provided by the owner once a week (up to $30).
Work Shoes:
Reimbursement for up to two (2) pairs of work shoes per year (up to $75, per pair).
Uniforms:
Company-provided shirts, hoodies, a winter face mask, and winter gloves, available at the driver's request.
Vehicle Accessories:
Company-provided phone charger and car mount for your route truck. Duties Safely operate company commercial trucks to deliver bread and bakery products along designated routes, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Plan and organize daily delivery routes efficiently to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines. Load and unload products using safe lifting practices, handling heavy items with care and precision. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation standards. Build positive relationships with retail store staff and clients through professional communication, upselling additional products when appropriate. Merchandize products at delivery sites, ensuring proper placement and presentation to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pricing adjustments, client interactions, and route logs for accountability and reporting purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving or route delivery, preferably within retail or bakery environments - previous Flowers Bread Route experience a PLUS! Strong knowledge of driving safety regulations, including DOT compliance and safe lifting practices. Excellent organizational skills to plan routes effectively and manage time efficiently. Basic math skills for handling load adjustments, carryovers and inventory counts. Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, upselling, and building lasting customer relationships. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while loading/unloading products regularly. Retail store experience or merchandising background is a PLUS! Bread Routes run all year round.
