Job Description
OVERVIEW
Deliver, install, relocate, and remove equipment while supporting store operations, remodels, new store openings, and store closure activities. Transport Sheetz products, equipment, and materials to and from Sheetz stores, warehouses, construction sites, and other company locations in a safe and timely manner. Assist with warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination of raw materials for transport to locations across the Sheetz footprint.RESPONSIBILITIES
(other duties may be assigned) 1. Inspect delivery vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips; submit written report on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each trip. 2. Load, unload, stage, wrap, secure, transport, and position products, materials, and equipment in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage and ensure safe delivery. 3. Install, assemble, relocate, and position products and equipment upon delivery and verfiy proper operation and functionality of the new products and equipment following installation. 4. Remove, uninstall, recover, and transport displaced equipment following replacements, remodels, store closures, and other projects ensuring inventory systems and asset records are accurately updated upon delivery and replacement. 5. Coordinate delivery activities with store management, project teams, contractors, and other business partners to minimize operational disruption and support timely project completion 6. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all DOT, federal, state and local regulations governing vehicle operation, inspections, driver documentation, and transportation safety. 7. Complete all required logs related to vehicle operation and report all accidents involving the driver and/or company vehicle, as well as delays, delivery irregularities, breakdowns, weather-related disruptions, traffic conditions, and other emergencies affecting transportation operations. 8. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, material staging, shipping, receiving, organization of returned and refurbished assets, cycle counting, and maintaining safe and orderly work areas.QUALIFICATIONS
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Education- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Vocational, technical, trade school, or related training preferred Experience
- No experience required with skilled trade or apprenticeship completion certificate
- Minimum 1-year hands-on training experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or a related trade without a skilled trade or apprenticeship required Licenses/Certifications
- Valid driver's license required
- Valid DOT medical card required.
- EPA certifications - license I and II preferred
- CPR/First Aid preferred. Tools & Equipment (Other than general office equipment):

- Hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)
- Power Hand tools (saws, drill press, grinders, sanders, etc.)
- Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, forklift, etc.)
