Every day we deliver outstanding customer service and goods to restaurants, hotels, schools, country clubs, cafes, and catering companies in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. This is a five (5) day a week position. DOT required No CDL required, just a clean driving record and background! Responsibilities and Duties Operate a 14 ft to 26 ft Straight Truck or van in accordance with DOT regulations as well as company safety policies Perform deliveries, pick-ups, and returns of produce, dairy products, and dry goods to/from FarmArt customers and suppliers in a friendly, safe, professional and timely manner. Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to company guidelines regarding quality assurance and safety. Review paperwork for assigned routes to ensure that all invoices are present and completed accurately. Prepare customer orders by verifying them with delivery invoices for accuracy, delivering them to customer's facility, and assisting with check-in and placement of products at the client facility. Assist Warehouse in picking and loading any shorted product for delivery routes. Make supervisor aware of any delivery delays, shorts, or errors that may require an additional delivery to the driver. Make any/all deliveries assigned by supervisor, including but not limited to route deliveries and late runs/pickups. Complete, organize, and turn in all appropriate paperwork and invoices. Obtain signatures on invoices for items delivered and collect any payments when necessary. Maintain truck cleanliness and meet company standards for daily truck maintenance. Maintain a professional appearance while conducting oneself as the public image, uniforms are provided. Make necessary vendor pick-ups on return to warehouse. Position is exempt from overtime (anything over 40 hours is paid at your straight hourly rate) Qualifications and Skills Pass pre-employment drug test, background, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), Criminal and reference check. Physical ability to continuously stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and move/push/pull/lift items weighing up to 60 lb repeatedly. Able to follow oral and written direction. Ability to operate a commercial vehicle, deck plates, handcart, hand jack, and other related equipment. Outstanding customer service and communication skills (verbal and written). Exceptional teamwork skills and a can-do attitude. Ensure DOT required documentation is maintained (driver's license, driving record, and medical examiner's card). Produce knowledge preferred, but not necessary.
