Pick-up Driver - Small Packages ( Monday to Friday)
Compensation:
Piece-rate ($0.70 per package)
Location:
Harrisburg Area Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Independent Contractor Pick-up Driver with their own Cargo Van or Minivan to manage daily package collections across the Greater Philadelphia area. You will be responsible for picking up small packages from designated locations and transferring them to our local warehouse or central hub. Key Responsibilities Timely pick-up of small packages from designated clients, warehouses, and drop-off points in the Philadelphia region. Verify package counts, inspect outer packaging, and record receipts using a mobile scanning app. Safely load, organize, and transport packages to the primary sorting facility/hub. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or site-specific issues.
Requirements & Qualifications Vehicle:
Must own and operate a reliable Cargo Van or Minivan with valid registration and commercial/commercial-use auto insurance.
Driver's License:
Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Form 1099).
Skills & Equipment:
Proficiency with smartphone apps for navigation and package scanning; basic English communication skills.
Physical Ability:
Able to lift and handle small-to-medium packages repeatedly throughout the shift. Perks & Benefits High-density pickup routes allowing for fast package aggregation and maximized earnings. Weekly payouts based on total package count. Flexible operational hours within agreed collection windows.
Pay:
$300.00 - $500.00 per day
