We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined, and customer-focused Service/Delivery Technician to join our Service/Repair team. As a Service/Delivery Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering, assembling, servicing, and maintaining complex rehabilitation equipment while providing patients and caregivers with the education and support they need to use it safely and confidently. What You'll Do Deliver, assemble, and install complex rehabilitation and mobility equipment, including wheelchairs, seating systems, hospital beds, patient lifts, and accessibility products. Educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on the safe operation and care of medical equipment. Perform equipment adjustments, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure safety and optimal performance. Support Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) during equipment evaluations, fittings, and clinical appointments. Pick up, inspect, clean, sanitize, and refurbish returned equipment in accordance with infection control standards. Maintain accurate service records, delivery documentation, and customer communications. Manage company vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for daily service calls. Assist with warehouse operations, equipment preparation, inventory management, and special projects as needed. Provide exceptional customer service while building positive relationships with patients, caregivers, referral sources, and healthcare providers. What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Outstanding customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely lift, move, and transport medical equipment. Previous experience in medical equipment, rehabilitation technology, healthcare, field service, or a related mechanical field is preferred but not required. Why Join Blackburn's?
