Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial customers across designated routes. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals while maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment. Engage with customers courteously, answer questions about products or services, and promote upselling opportunities when appropriate. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform heavy lifting of packages or merchandise as needed, and report any maintenance issues promptly. Organize delivery routes for optimal efficiency using route driving skills and navigation tools. Assist with merchandising at delivery locations by organizing and presenting products professionally. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including pricing adjustments or special instructions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent driving certification with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving or route delivery roles; military driving experience is a plus. Strong math skills for handling pricing adjustments and basic calculations during deliveries. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple routes and schedules simultaneously. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and sales strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
