Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our company on the road, ensuring timely and professional delivery of products to our customers. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to various customer locations following assigned routes. Load and unload merchandise with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit. Follow planned routes efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and ensuring a positive delivery experience. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging strong communication skills to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including receipts and logs, ensuring all records are complete and organized. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic laws. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, or quantities as needed. Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and problem-solving mindset. Organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus; military background is advantageous for discipline and route planning expertise.
