We do NOT believe in just throwing people into roles without making sure they have a thorough understanding of how to be successful in this role. •Please read this ad in it's entirety. You can have your first check as soon as 1 week from your hire date. 570 Logistics Inc is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground. Due to growth and expansion, we are currently hiring 5-6 PT drivers. Routes are local, within 15-20 minutes of Allentown, PA. Current open positions include Pen Argyl, Bangor, Bath, Mount Bethel, Nazareth, Walnutport, Easton. All drivers are paid by the stop, the faster you work, the more you make per hour. Hours are approximately 8a-5p. Since this is a pickup and delivery business, finding your way to stops quickly makes the job much easier. 570 Logistics Inc has invested in the best navigation technology available to ensure you get your work done fast and are home for dinner To be considered for a position, you must : Be able to speak and communicate clearly (this is a DOT regulation) Pass a background check--please be accurate in your representation of your background. The background check includes a look back of 10 years for any Felony, DUI or DWI. Have a clean driving record. Parking tickets are NOT an issue. Pass a DOT physical and drug screen (company paid) If you have bad knees or a bad back this is probably not the job for you. If you have uncontrolled diabetes or high blood pressure you will likely not pass the physical. You do NOT need to have the driving experience. Anyone who is hard working and reliable is a good candidate. If you do have driving experience please share that with us. This includes but not limited to Uber, landscaper, HVAC, bus, pizza delivery, newspaper delivery, limo... Be 21 years or older and be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs, occasionally over 75lbs. Reliability is a key attribute we look for in our team, you can't show up for work every day, this is not the job for you. Healthcare and 401K available.
