Medication Fulfillment & Delivery Specialist Friendship Pharmacy LTC | Full-Time | $18/hour | Evening Shift | Training Provided The Position Friendship Pharmacy LTC is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Medication Fulfillment & Delivery Specialist to join our team. This is a dual-role position . You will spend part of your shift working inside the pharmacy preparing, packaging, scanning, and organizing medication orders, and part of your shift delivering those orders to our long-term care facilities. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys structured, hands-on work , can stay productive without constant supervision, and takes pride in doing things correctly. This is not a position where you will spend your entire shift driving. You will be expected to work in the pharmacy as well as complete deliveries. Schedule Full-time Evening shift Exact hours to be determined Consistent scheduling Company vehicle provided for deliveries Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. What You'll Be Responsible ForPharmacy Fulfillment Preparing and packaging medication orders accurately Organizing medication orders for delivery Scanning prescriptions and orders into the pharmacy system Following established procedures for medication fulfillment Verifying that orders are complete and properly prepared Maintaining an organized and efficient work area Meeting expected workflow and delivery deadlines Communicating with pharmacy staff when an issue or discrepancy is identified Medication Delivery Delivering medication orders to long-term care facilities and other designated locations Following assigned delivery routes and schedules Ensuring the correct medications and packages are delivered to the correct facility Safely handling medication orders throughout the delivery process Obtaining required signatures or documentation Communicating professionally with facility staff Reporting missing items, damaged packages, delivery issues, or other problems promptly Returning required paperwork, containers, or materials to the pharmacy Keeping the company vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use What the Job Is Really Like This is an active, fast-paced position that combines pharmacy production work with driving. During your shift, you may be: Standing and working at a pharmacy workstation Performing repetitive tasks that require concentration Preparing and organizing medication orders Scanning and processing orders Carrying medication totes and packages Driving to multiple facilities Getting in and out of the vehicle frequently Interacting with facility staff Answering phone calls Returning to the pharmacy and transitioning back into fulfillment work The work can be repetitive, and accuracy is critical . You will need to maintain a consistent pace while following established procedures. You will also need to transition between pharmacy work and delivery responsibilities without losing attention to detail. Requirements The following are mandatory:
Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to safely operate a company vehicle Ability to safely lift and carry medication totes and packages Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail Professional communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Availability for the designated evening shift Previous pharmacy, delivery, courier, healthcare, warehouse, food service, retail, or other fast-paced work experience is a plus, but not required . Company Vehicle A company vehicle is provided for deliveries. Employees are expected to operate the vehicle safely and responsibly and maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
