Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver, where you'll be the vital link between our company and satisfied customers. In this energetic role, you will deliver appliances efficiently, install them with precision, and ensure every customer experience is positive and seamless. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and customer service skills will drive success in this fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical expertise while providing exceptional service in the field. Duties Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver appliances to residential or commercial locations. Unload and transport appliances using appropriate equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and ladders. Install appliances accurately by following schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, plumbing requirements, and manufacturer instructions. Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site, performing repairs or adjustments as needed to ensure proper operation. Conduct electrical work, plumbing connections, and mechanical adjustments during installation processes. Communicate clearly with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for each job. Experience Proven experience operating delivery vehicles such as box trucks or similar large vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and installation. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration components, plumbing connections, and equipment troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other field service equipment. Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures in a field service environment. Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills. Ability to read technical diagrams and perform electrical work or appliance repairs confidently. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
