Duties Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver appliances to residential or commercial locations. Unload and transport appliances using appropriate equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and ladders. Install appliances accurately by following schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, plumbing requirements, and manufacturer instructions. Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site, performing repairs or adjustments as needed to ensure proper operation. Conduct electrical work, plumbing connections, and mechanical adjustments during installation processes. Communicate clearly with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for each job. Experience Proven experience operating delivery vehicles such as box trucks or similar large vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and installation. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration components, plumbing connections, and equipment troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other field service equipment. Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures in a field service environment. Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills. Ability to read technical diagrams and perform electrical work or appliance repairs confidently.
