Job Title:
Delivery Driver Pay Rate:
$15.00 / hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to our customers, stocking shelves, and assisting in loading your truck for the next day's deliveries. Additionally, you will help load other trucks as needed, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Products:
Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Verify and confirm orders with customers upon delivery. Maintain accurate delivery records and collect payments when necessary.
Stock Shelves :
Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels at customer locations. Organize products in a neat and orderly manner to facilitate easy access.
Load Trucks:
Assist in loading your delivery truck with the necessary products for the next day's deliveries. Ensure that all items are properly secured and organized for efficient delivery. Assist in
Loading Other Trucks:
Collaborate with team members to load other trucks with products and supplies. Follow loading procedures and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain Vehicle and Equipment:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on delivery vehicles. Report any mechanical issues or damages to the appropriate personnel. Keep delivery equipment clean and in good working condition.
Follow Safety Procedures:
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Follow company safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Use proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injuries when loading and unloading products.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Prior experience in delivery driving or a related field is preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Willingness to work flexible hours. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
