You are a reliable and skilled driver with at least 3-years experience in operating box trucks and/or sprinter vans. You are able to manage up to 75 pounds, enjoy problem solving, and have a positive attitude. You have a flexible schedule, and are open to occasionally doing an overnight run with a paid hotel room and per diem. What the job is : A reliable and skilled Delivery Driver, to operate 26 ft box trucks and/or sprinter vans for local and over the road deliveries. report to headquarters to receive routing information, keys to vehicle and load parcel onto vehicle in an orderly fashion safely drive to routed destinations utilizing mobile software utilize a pallet jack, dolly and/or lift gate to offload materials to residential and business addresses have excellent communication skills and respectfully follow instructions from the company dispatcher treat customers in a friendly, professional manner while maintaining a safe and non contact delivery The skills needed to be successful are : must be proficient with GPS and other navigation applications and familiar with the middle TN area able to lift over 70 pounds and maneuver 200+ pounds with appropriate equipment. skilled at driving in inclement weather and heavy traffic. Employment subject to MVR check for insurance approval. able to stay out of town overnight as needed. able to communicate openly and honestly with management.
