In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely assisting with large items directly to customers' homes or designated locations. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your patience, will ensure a smooth delivery experience. Ability to work 5am- 3pm, Monday through Saturday! Duties Safely operate hand truck dollies and shoulder dollies for furniture and appliances. Load and unload home appliances using equipment such as hand trucks and four-wheel dollies ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly. Assist box truck driver with the placement and setup of dishwashers, washer and dryers, refrigerators etc. 12-15 stops a day, Must be available Monday through Saturday! Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably involving furniture or heavy goods transportation. Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, and moving heavy items on and off a 26ft box truck. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent with experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles with air brakes. Familiarity with route driving, heavy lifting, and safety protocols on the road Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy appliances/furniture repeatedly throughout the day.
