Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, delivering products efficiently and safely to our valued customers. Responsibilities look Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at each destination. Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting practices, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent injury and damage. Build strong customer relationships through professional communication, friendly service, and prompt problem resolution. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, invoices, and route reports. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Upsell or suggest additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred. Knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure compliance during deliveries. Basic math skills for handling pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory counts. Proven ability in customer service and client communication to foster positive relationships. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during loading/unloading tasks. Experience in retail store environments or merchandising is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
