Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Duties Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks, to deliver goods along assigned routes while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time arrivals. Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, ensuring safe handling of heavy items. Build strong relationships with customers through friendly communication, addressing their needs and providing excellent service. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging retail store experience and sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records in compliance with organizational standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving, including automobile transportation and commercial truck operation Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper practices; physically fit to handle demanding tasks Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
