Job Description

We're looking for dependable Owner-Operators with a High-Roof Sprinter Van (or comparable cargo van) to run a dedicated residential delivery route in the Sumter, SC area. This is a long-term, consistent contract opportunity — a 1099 Independent Contractor position — for a professional owner-operator looking for steady work with a growing company.
Position Overview:
Dedicated residential delivery route Arrive at the store no later than 1:30 PM daily to prepare for loading; scheduled route departure is approximately 2:00 PM Routes typically run 8-10 hours 7 days a week Long-term, consistent work Pay is biweekly via direct deposit. Your first paycheck depends on your start date relative to the payroll cutoff — if you start after the cutoff, your first pay is included in the following pay period. After that, you're on the regular biweekly schedule.
Contract Expectations:
Arrive no later than 1:30 PM every scheduled workday and be prepared to depart once the route is released Complete the assigned route the same day while meeting the client's performance expectations Maintain an average delivery pace of approximately 7-8 stops per hour Safely load, secure, and deliver all assigned packages Scan every package and capture the required proof of delivery photo through the delivery app Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service Keep your cargo van clean, reliable, and in safe operating condition Immediately communicate any delays, accidents, vehicle issues, or anything that could impact route completion Follow all client policies, app procedures, and safety requirements Maintain a valid driver's license, commercial auto insurance, and pass the required background screening A note on the time commitment: Routes are designed for up to 10 hours. If packages remain, working up to the 10-hour mark is mandatory — the route is expected to be completed the same day. If your van is loaded strategically before you leave the store, you stay focused, and you keep a steady pace, these routes often wrap up in 8 hours or less. Organization matters more than almost anything else here — a few extra minutes spent loading smart at the store saves real time on the road.
What you need:

Approximately 90-160 miles per day , depending on package volume and routing. Residential e-commerce package deliveries using a delivery application with proof of delivery. Most packages weigh less than 50 lbs.
Pay:
$230.00 - $240.00 per day
