Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and secure goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and load bars Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices and GPS tools to optimize time and fuel consumption Deliver goods directly to customers' locations, providing excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs for load & unload activities and delivery confirmations Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items, minimizing injury risk Skills Proven warehouse experience combined with delivery driver experience in fast-paced environments Commercial driving skills with a valid driver's license for box trucks or commercial trucks; experience with manual transmission is a plus Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks Excellent driving skills with a focus on adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols Ability to lift heavy items safely while following proper manual handling procedures Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude during all interactions Familiarity with route driving using mobile devices or GPS systems for efficient deliveries Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving goods, and prolonged periods of driving or standing Join us as a Delivery Specialist and become an essential part of our vibrant team!
