Duties Safely operate box trucks or similar delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations. Unload appliances carefully, ensuring no damage during transit or installation. Install a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units following schematics and technical instructions. Connect appliances to electrical systems, plumbing, or ventilation as required, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. Troubleshoot and perform basic appliance repairs or adjustments on-site using tools and equipment repair skills. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion of each job. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record; experience with 5 + years experience operating box trucks preferred. CDL or F endorsement Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with appliance repair, refrigeration systems, HVAC units or similar field service roles. Basic electrical experience for connecting appliances safely and correctly. Background check and drug screening Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during delivery and installation. Ability to lift heavy appliances safely and work in physically demanding environments. Valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements; previous delivery driver experience highly valued.
