Contact Deivi by TEXT at (256) 929-5318 Responsibilities Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure productivity, safety, and accountability across all shifts. Operate and ensure proper use of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems. Enforce safety protocols, OSHA compliance standards, and company policies to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel. Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and vendors to align inbound and outbound shipment schedules. Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy and damage, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Generate operational reports, track KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics supervision, or a similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures. Experience operating and overseeing the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer/reporting tools. Ability to lift heavy loads when needed and comfort working in a physically demanding environment. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices. Prior experience with staff scheduling, performance management, and process improvement is a strong plus.
