Pick up & Delivery Driver

Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and other courier vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload packages. Deliver packages accurately to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during shifts.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a commercial setting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; < Person>driver certification and F endorsement required. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission. Ability to perform heavy lifting and perform physical tasks such as moving items using a forklifts or pallet jacks. Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and navigate routes efficently. Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations.
