In this role, you will operate a refrigerated truck to transport freight across designated routes. Duties Safely operate a non-commercial, side load vehicle. Load, unload, and merchandise frozen goods efficiently using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks and convertible handtrucks. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Deliver goods accurately to multiple stops within your route, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Maintain detailed delivery invoices. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road. Requirements Valid driver's license with F endorsement. Minimum (10) years driving experience. Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver in a fast-paced environment. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety standards. Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs multiple times a day. (approximate handtruck weight) Familiarity with truck driving regulations and compliance standards applicable in your region.
