Summary The Delivery Driver role focuses on ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality deliveries by following established procedures and standards. This position requires patience, attention to detail, and a commitment to completing tasks efficiently and error-free. Safely and efficiently transport materials between branches, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.Load and unload transfer shipments according to scheduled times, verifying accuracy before departure.
Track inventory and maintain accurate records of delivered and received materials.
Process and stage all tagged materials for designated locations, ensuring proper documentation.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to management.
Conduct cycle counts in assigned areas to maintain inventory accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and assigned work areas.
Assist with warehouse duties, including material handling and stocking, as needed.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws while operating a company vehicle.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the leadership team or senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.High level of accountability and reliability in meeting schedules.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
No history of drug or alcohol abuse.
Must provide a current health card.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to climb, crouch, and grasp materials as needed.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen and speak clearly.
