$10.00 per hour Job description: Job description: "Must be 21 years of Age" Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will operate different types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks, while adhering to all safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans , to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of items. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of items delivered. Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during deliveries. Qualifications Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience with warehouse operations or courier services is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
