Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our DSP team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to designated locations.Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers or businesses
- Load and unload cargo
- Follow routes and time schedules
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to safety standards and traffic laws
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or refrigerated trailers
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles
- Proficiency in using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools for heavy lifting
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with box trucks, pallet jacks, and refrigerated trailers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods
- Proficiency in operating forklifts
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles
