Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver packages along assigned routes with precision and professionalism Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices and route maps, following all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and courteously, addressing any delivery issues promptly Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and prevent breakdowns Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery confirmation records, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route progress or issues Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management, material handling, and supporting team members during busy periods Skills Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service principles Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Ability to operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or vans with manual transmission safely and efficiently Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, moving items, and using equipment such as pallet jacks or material handling tools Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe lifting practices Experience with mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes Strong adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols during all driving activities This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on active work environments and enjoy providing exceptional service.
