Position Description:

Our wholesale operation has provided liquor, beer, and non-alcoholic spirits and mixers to bars and restaurants across Austin and Travis County since 2017, and we are in need of a dedicated and experienced Delivery Driver to join our growing team. Drivers at the Austin Shaker Wholesale are the face of our Production Team, meaning you will be responsible for ensuring our clients accurately receive the correct products in a timely and efficient manner.

Job Summary:

Delivery Drivers are required to assist in loading/unloading orders, driving to client drop-offs, checking in orders, and communicating any questions or concerns from our clients to our warehouse staff. As part of the Production Team, drivers will need to be able to communicate effectively any issues with Production Managers.

Requirements:

Have a valid driver's license.

Clean driving record.

Safely operate company vehicle and maintain a clean vehicle at all times.

Ensure that deliveries are made on time, and orders are secure in the truck before departing for the delivery destination.

Communicate effectively with customers and other employees in a professional manner.

Ability to spend extended amounts of time standing and walking, as well as lift product cases weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Must demonstrate an ability to learn and recognize thousands of specific products when checking in orders.

Experience:

Prior delivery driving experience is required.

Previous liquor industry experience and knowledge of products is not required but is a plus.
