Job Description

Company Overview:

Responsibilities:
Reviews and verifies accuracy of delivery manifests (sheet(s)/tickets) and other office documentation. In collaboration with Pharmacy staff prioritizes items for delivery. Professionally drives vehicle for pick-up and delivery services. Delivers items to specific locations according to priority requests from Pharmacy personnel. Provides Pharmacy Delivery Services by ensuring prompt and accurate distribution of medications and supplies to Solaris offices and medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and the requirements of the assigned route Provides timely and accurate completion of deliveries to Solaris Pharmacy customers while using the most safe and efficient delivery routes. Maintains company vehicles and equipment (if applicable) in proper working condition and performs minor roadside repairs. May have company vehicle repaired when approved by Pharmacy Director or his/her appointee. Performs general pharmacy clean up, including vacuuming, breaking down boxes, disposal of trash and general custodial type work as scheduled or upon request of pharmacy personnel. Assists pharmacy personnel by restocking supplies, containers, bottles, etc. on request.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to communicate via phone effectively, professionally, and courteously, fax, written, or face-to-face with all contacts and staff Exhibit proficient computer skills A valid Texas driver's license A current and maintained safe driving record Ability to read and follow written and verbal routing directions Ability to read and write record information as directed Prefer computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Products Company vehicle is provided.
