Job Overview As a member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive attitude and building strong relationships with our accounts to ensure their complete satisfaction. You'll be assigned a tractor-trailer adorned with our top brands' logos and will be responsible for keeping it clean, as well as conducting pre- and post-trip inspections at the start and end of each day. This physically demanding role involves not only driving but also lifting and carrying loads of up to 100 lbs. or more on a repetitive basis along your assigned route. Physical strength, stamina, and a clean driving record are essential to excel in this position. Job Responsibilities The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Safely and efficiently deliver pre-sold packaged beer, kegs, and non-alcoholic beverages to customer accounts. Organize and restock shelves for customers. Maintain proper product rotation to uphold our commitment to freshness and quality standards. Assist and provide guidance to driver helpers in their tasks. Collect payments and obtain signed invoices from customers. Foster positive customer relations and maintain a friendly demeanor. Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift. Perform other job-related duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and a willingness to contribute to team success. A CDL. A
clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents in the last three-five years is essential for safe and responsible driving. Due to the physically demanding nature of the role, candidates must have the physical strength and stamina to lift, carry, and handle loads of up to 100 lbs. or more on a repetitive basis. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with customers, maintain a friendly demeanor, and handle payments and invoices professionally. The ability to organize and restock shelves for customers while ensuring proper product rotation is essential to maintain freshness and quality standards. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the delivery vehicle. A willingness to assist and provide guidance to driver helpers, as well as showcase flexibility and a collaborative spirit to contribute to the team's success. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations while on the road and during deliveries. Reliable and punctual attendance is crucial to meeting delivery schedules and maintaining customer satisfaction. Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with customers and team members. Knowledge of and adherence to local traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and lawful driving. Ability to endure long hours on the road and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required to ensure a substance-free work environment.
