Job Overview WRI Tractors, a tractor and construction equipment parts, sales and service store in Bryan, Texas, is seeking a Equipment delivery driver/porter. Both agricultural professionals and do-it-yourself landowners in Bryan/College Station turn to WRI Tractors for their equipment needs. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Equipment Delivery Driver/Porter to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely delivering equipment and providing exceptional customer service. things that would have to be hauled include Kawasaki mules, Skid Steers, small tractors and lawn mowers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will ensure timely deliveries, smooth operations, and satisfied clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our delivery process, combining driving expertise with hands-on equipment handling. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy moving things efficiently, this is the perfect role for you! Responsibilities Safely load and unload equipment from trailers. Safely operate a box truck and other commercial vehicles to deliver equipment to various locations according to scheduled routes Load and unload equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs for accountability and tracking purposes Assist with warehouse organization by moving inventory, staging equipment, and maintaining a clean work environment Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns professionally Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly Follow all traffic laws, route plans, and safety procedures to ensure timely and secure deliveries Need to be a minimum of 21 years old. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver, courier, or porter in a warehouse or logistics setting is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle with manual transmission Experience with heavy lifting, moving equipment, or handling large items safely and efficiently Familiarity with warehouse tools such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in diverse situations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving drivers or route driving is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day Join us to become an essential part of our delivery team!
