Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting propane to commercial & residential accounts safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for vehicle type. Class B as a minimum. Must have Hazmat. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A commitment to safety practices in all driving activities.
