As a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground, we deliver packages throughout the region and support operations in other Texas markets. This is a fast-paced, physical, and independent position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and providing excellent customer service. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Our goal is to provide full-time drivers with approximately 45 hours per week whenever route volume and operational needs allow, giving drivers the opportunity to earn overtime pay. Position Responsibilities Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle Deliver and pick up packages along an assigned route Load, unload, lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds or more Use a handheld device to scan packages and complete deliveries Follow all company and FedEx safety procedures Provide professional and courteous customer service Maintain a clean and professional appearance Complete required vehicle inspections before and after each shift Schedule Full-time position Saturday availability is required Monday through Friday shifts are available Additional weekend work may be required Drivers work until their assigned route is completed Our goal is to provide approximately 45 hours per week whenever route volume and operational needs allow Drivers may have the opportunity to earn approximately five hours of overtime each week or more Hours worked over 40 in a workweek are paid at the applicable overtime rate Weekly hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on route volume, staffing, weather, and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements Applicants must:

Be at least 21 years old Have a valid driver's license Have no at-fault accidents within the past three years Have no moving violations within the past 12 months Have at least one year of verifiable work-related driving experience within the past three years Pass a pre-employment drug screening Pass a background check and motor vehicle record check Be able to repeatedly lift and carry packages throughout the workday Be willing to follow company uniform and appearance guidelines Be dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently Qualifying driving experience may include: Pizza or food delivery Auto-parts delivery Courier or package delivery Driving a company vehicle as part of a previous job Benefits Paid time off Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
