Argyle and Lake Dallas Job Description:
As a FedEx Delivery Driver at Bay South Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods.
Your responsibilities will include:
Safely and responsibly operating company vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to pick up and deliver various items. Following established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging. Inspecting and maintaining the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Keeping accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is a plus. Strong knowledge of local roads and routes. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy packages (0-150 lbs.) with the aid of dollies. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. Flexibility to work varying shifts. Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary with additional pay. High school diploma or equivalent. Bay South Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
