SCOPE OF WORK

We are currently seeking experienced individuals to help support our growth. The ideal candidate will be accountable for: Moving and transporting household items, office equipment, industrial equipment, and unique items to the desired destination while ensuring the items are safe and undamaged. Manage inventory records. Interact professionally with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. Communicate customer requests to leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Pack, load, and transport items in a safe and efficient manner. Work as a team to move, pack, unpack, and rearrange items during relocation. Inspect and sort items before loading and moving to ensure all items are properly packed and secured. Assemble and disassemble furniture as required. Maintain accurate inventory of all items being moved. Drive moving truck or van to destination, ensuring safe and timely arrival. Properly use moving equipment and supplies to pack and unpack household items. Provide excellent customer service, addressing clients' queries and complaints professionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Previous work experience as a professional Mover or relevant role. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Attention to detail to keep track of all items and ensure they are delivered without loss or damage. Understanding safety protocols to ensure the proper handling and transportation of items, preventing damage, and injuries. Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Teamwork skills to work effectively with other movers, sharing the workload and coordinating tasks efficiently. Problem-solving abilities to deal with unexpected issues such as fitting large items through doors or dealing with parking restrictions. Navigation and driving skills to transport items to the new location in a timely and safe manner. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to grasp, hold and twist and manipulate objects with their hands (manual dexterity) Ability to hear verbal instructions and safety warnings Physical outdoor and indoor work, with travel from site to site. This role involves heavy lifting and manual labor. Physical strength and stamina to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods. Packing and organizing skills to safely and efficiently arrange items in the moving vehicle.

DRESS CODE

Pants and shirts must be clean and neat with no holes. Undergarments should not be seen. No open-toe shoes or loose clothing, this includes anything that could get caught in equipment. Steel-toe boots are recommended for safety. Hours of Work 10-20 expected work hours a week
