Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Delivery Driver in Harlingen! We're looking for a reliable and efficient individual to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding our company's reputation for excellence.
Safely operate your own delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locationsLoad and unload packages from delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organizationUse navigation tools and local knowledge to plan efficient delivery routesVerify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package deliveryMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionConduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issuesProvide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionallyAdhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policiesAssist with additional tasks as assigned by managementQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid Drivers License with 2 years of driving experience if 18, and 1 if 19. Previous delivery or driving experience preferredExcellent time management and navigation skillsStrong customer service orientationDetail-oriented with basic math skills for package counting and invoice verificationPhysical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 poundsProficiency in using GPS and mobile delivery applicationsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as neededKnowledge of local traffic patterns and road systems in Harlingen and surrounding areasAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
