Responsible for the physical operation of the Distribution Center, the GSC directly supports the RPIC throughout shifts with pre-flight, in-flight, post-flight and any other duties as assigned. Classification Part-Time or Full-Time, Hourly Pay Rate $20 to 25 per hour. Per hour rate is commensurate with relevant experience as well as the responsibilities of the position. Part-time positions do not have access to benefits. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in group insurance after 30 days of employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all FARs and other regulations as well as CAU standard operating procedures associated with Part 135 drone delivery operations Performs all responsibilities of the role with professionalism and attention to detail. Maintains direct communication with RPIC through hands free communication throughout shift Responsible for site setup and breakdown daily Responsible for conducting a Visual Survey prior to the beginning of flight operations. Perform pre-flight duties Responsible for preparing and loading packages onto drones in accordance with proper procedure. Assist with coordination and organization of drones during departure and arrival Perform post-flight duties Monitor and troubleshoot battery charging status Help with the recovery of drones when required. Conduct delivery point verification as assigned Complete necessary forms and documentation associated with operations Report any discrepancies or mechanical issues as they arise Any other duties as assigned Any driving during drone recovery is done with personal vehicles and mileage is compensated.

Requirements:
All team members must possess a Part 107 Certificate to commercially operate sUAS. Part 135 crew members will be subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol screenings. Must consent to background and employment history check. Valid Driver's License - Subject to driving record history check prior to employment. Part 135 crew members must complete training provided by company Instructors and qualified by company Check Pilots to a "satisfactory" standard prior to being scheduled for duty. Proficiency in standard Microsoft office software suite applications. Good organization and communication skills, both oral and written, are essential to success in this position. Can develop and deliver clear, concise communications. Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative, trusting, flexible, and safety focused environment. High School Education or GED Equivalent; Associates Degree or higher is preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. (This is due to corporate insurance requirements.) Preferred Education and Experience 1. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (or In-Progress). 2. One (1) to two (2) years' experience working with RPA or UAS. 3. Part 61 pilot experience is a plus. Contingencies Job offers will be contingent on passing all pre-employment screenings and training requirements. Work Environment This job operates in outdoor environments including inclement and hot weather, extreme-cold conditions in addition to limited office work. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, radio equipment, mobile phones, electronic tablets, multi-rotor small unmanned aircraft and remote control units. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to operate a personal vehicle and is required to speak and hear. The team member is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time; run; stand; walk; use hands, handle or feel; kneel/crouch; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time or full-time position. General hours are shifts between 7:30 AM and 9:30 PM. As this is a 7 day a week operation weekend /holiday work will be required . Travel Travel is local to the position location. Mileage for personal vehicle usage related to work duties is reimbursable. Citizenship This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
