Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers on assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety standards. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups across multiple locations. Communicate clearly with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and provide excellent service. Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to prevent injury and ensure product integrity. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records to support organizational efficiency. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and keep the vehicle clean and organized. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery services, demonstrating safe driving habits and route management skills. Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations, measurements, and basic inventory counts. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding environments. Prior experience in sales or upselling is a plus, showcasing your ability to identify customer needs. Familiarity with route driving software or GPS systems for efficient navigation. Military background or experience can be advantageous due to discipline, organizational skills, and adaptability.
