A-Line Store Delivery driver is responsible for delivery of product to customers from the servicing A-Line store and/or picking up returns from customers, using a Company provided vehicle. Delivery Driver is also responsible for verifying that all parts being delivered are the same parts billed on the accompanying invoice(s). This position may also be responsible for in-store duties, along with representing the company in a positive manner, and keeping good customer relations. Primary Job Functions The primary job functions include, but are not limited to: Verifies product, loads and unloads product at the customer location, and available resources to do so safely, using equipment which may include forklifts, pallet jacks or hand trucks. Transport the products invoiced to the appropriate customer utilizing the dispatch and delivery tracking software device. Represent the company in a positive way, showing good customer relation skills Perform daily inspections which includes checking gasoline, oil, water, and tires and fills as required. Record and report any malfunctions of equipment on the Inspection Sheet which is reviewed by the Store Manager. Possess the ability to handle money from customers and be able to make change if necessary Maintain a satisfactory attendance record Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, work stations and shipping supply areas neat in the store, complying with all OSHA and company safety procedures, rules and regulations. All other tasks as assigned by Management Skill Requirements The skill requirements include, but are not limited to: Must be able to safely operate a vehicle and meet all company requirements for being an approved driver. Courteous treatment of and assistance to customers High degree of attention required to prevent injury and damage to self and others when operating a company vehicle Must be able to follow oral and written instructions Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Work involves continual walking, lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching Work may involve climbing and descending stairs Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. of weight on a continuous basis Ability to read and write in English Must successfully complete background check, criminal history check Must pass a physical, human performance evaluation, and drug test Attitude that supports the Company's goals and values Must maintain regular and prompt attendance Experience Requirements Education Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Certification Requirements Texas drivers' license #AL123
