Driver(Part time) Royal Estates Wichita Falls - 3.2 Wichita Falls, TX Job Details Part-time $15 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications In-person customer service Minor mechanical vehicle repair Driver's License Manual transmission Safety standard operating procedures Machine minor repairs Full Job Description The Driver safely transports residents to and from the facility using company vehicles and will help anyone in need of assistance when entering or exiting the vehicle or with any baggage. He or she is responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicles, reporting any defects or items of concern to the appropriate supervisor. Most importantly and without exception, he or she operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents. Transports residents to and from the community in assigned vehicles Helps residents to safely enter and exit company vehicles using any appropriate adaptive equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, or lifts Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road Completes any reports or logs Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Physical Requirements:
Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance Neat, clean, and professional appearance Highly professional and dependable Safety and customer service oriented Upbeat personality with a warm and friendly demeanor Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred Must be between ages of 25-70 for insurances purposes Two years of relevant experience required This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee in this position.
