The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including vans and transits. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, up to 40 lbs or 150 lbs using dolly. Perform route driving to deliver products efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality before departure. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any discrepancies. Assist with moving items as needed within the warehouse or delivery locations. Skills Proficiency in heavy lifting techniques to handle large or bulky items safely. Previous experience in route driving is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries. Capability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
